I was born and raised in Calimesa, California (about
20 minutes from Loma Linda University). I attended Loma
Linda Seventh-day Adventist Academy and went on to attend
Pacific Union College, where I received my B.S. degree in
biology. Paying attention to detail, enjoying serving others,
and following in my father’s footsteps, I attended Loma
Linda University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1990.
I went to work in my father’s practice and enjoyed
working with him very much. Soon after, he became ill and
passed away suddenly.
In 1994 my wife and I made a decision to move our
young family to Auburn, California where I had been
practicing until May1, 2015, at which time I moved to Texas and
began practicing dentistry here in Keene.
We have four children: Kelli, Jake, Kimi and Justin.
My wife Karyn, also graduated from Loma Linda University
School of Dentistry, in 1990 with her dental hygiene degree
but worked as a high school teacher, coach and athletic
director at Pine Hills Adventist Academy for 10 years until we
moved to Texas. As a family, we enjoy many outdoor
activities (running, golf, hiking, horses and skiing. Most
importantly, we enjoy serving our church, school and
I’m excited about meeting each one of you and having
the opportunity to provide for your dental needs.
